POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The Malaysian Gruduate School of Management Foundation was founded in 1997, to foster
the development of post-graduate education and training in the field of business management.
Its mission is also to promote the development of management excellence in Asia Pacific, through teaching research, and providing professional services to corporations.
The Foundation invites qualified Malaysian nationals to apply for scholarships to pursue the MBA, MS or Ph.D for the 2000 academic sessions.
This scholarship offer is only applicable for post-graduate studies at the Malaysian Graduate School for Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Conditions and Requirements
(Offer applicable for May'99 session only)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- A Bacheior's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Sciences,
Economics or Business Administration from UPM or other recognised institutions;
- A Bacheior's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Sciences,
Economics or Business Administration from UPM or other recognised institutions;
- Attain at least a Second Class Upper (or a CGPA of 3.30); and
- Preferably with 2 years of working experience
Master of Science (M.S.)
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration from UPM or other
recognise.d institutions; and
- Attain at least a Second Class Upper (or a CGPA of 3.30)
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
- A Master's degree in Economics or Business Administration from UPM or other
recognised institutions;
- Attain at least a CGPA of 3.75; and
- Ability to undertake research independently
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PH.D. DEGREE
UPM invites citizens below 35 years from ASAIHL countries to undertake research leading to a Ph.D degree in UPM.
Eligibility
Possess a Master or Bachelor degree with good Honors in relevant field of study.
Provide evidence of research competence in the relevant field
Scholarship
The grant is for 3 years.
Monthly living allowance of RM 2,300 (US$I=RM3.80).
Exempted from tuition and examination fees.
